"An Act To Stabilize Property Taxes for Individuals 65 Years of Age or Older Who Own a Homestead for at Least 10 Years"
Forms are now available for eligible Senior Citizens to apply to have their property taxes frozen. This is the new state program that has been in the news lately. Forms must be turned into the Town Office by December 1, and the "freeze" will apply to tax bills that will be sent in the fall of 2023.
